Our aim at WLPS is to encourage pupils to develop as active global citizens who value opportunities to engage in learning that is relevant to their lives and to their future.
Our whole School approach, with the UNESCO Global Goals at its centre, enables learning for sustainability to be embedded with outdoor learning at its core to support our national curriculum. We want to equip our pupils with the values, attitudes, knowledge, skills and confidence to act and make decisions which are compatible with a sustainable society and contribute effectively to the common good.
Learners will understand the significance of their choices, now and in the future and their responsible use of our planet's resources, developing a sense of belonging to their local, national and global community, with a deep connection to the natural world.
We strive to inspire pupils to become responsible, environmentally aware citizens.
